General Conditions of Sale
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Orders can only be accepted from UK Mainland customers.
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to refuse to supply any goods or services you order.
Payment can be accepted by DDM, Visa, Mastercard, Debit, BACS & CHAPS.
All products remain the property of A1 until received cleared payment in full.
All prices quoted exclude VAT which is charged at the rate required at the purchase time.
A1 reserves the right to change prices. All goods are subject to availability.
If we do not supply the goods we will refund any money already paid. We will not be liable for compensation or damages for non- supply.
The price of goods and services will be stipulated at the time when the order is placed. We are entitled to adjust the price(s) to take into account any increases from our Supplier’s delivery charges, credit or debit card charges, fulfilment charges, minimum charges or if due to an error or omission from any spoken or published prices. We will inform you of the correctly adjusted prices to provide an option for you to cancel your order.
All orders are subject to delivery plus VAT unless previously agreed.
No verbal or written guarantees are given for same or next day delivery.
If delivery has been attempted on an agreed basis and the buyer is not available to take delivery an additional charge may be applicable for re-delivery.
A1 will not be held liable for loss or damage suffered by any non or late delivery.
Claims for damage when goods are delivered must be made in writing within 3 days
Goods delayed by you or when delivery is made, become your responsibility.
We can only deliver to the registered address when goods are paid by credit card
Suitability of Goods
We do warrant the suitability of any goods or services for a particular purpose.
The buyer agrees to pre-check all necessary specifications and suitability before ordering
Specifications of goods and services are subject to development changes and may vary
Returns / Faulty Goods/Warranty
All Products supplied have individual warranty periods from the Manufacturers.
Any faulty goods at delivery must be reported to A1 within 7 working days.
Requests to return goods ordered in error by the buyer must be firstly requested by e-mail and not by telephone alone.
Returned goods are subject to a 20% plus vat restocking charge and only permitted following written confirmation having been received from A1.
We can only accept returned items providing the goods are complete, unused and in a re-sellable condition and all relevant packaging is undamaged and unmarked
Return of the goods is the buyer’s responsibility and must include carriage and insurance.
Goods returned to us without prior authorisation or to which are not in the condition set out above, will be rejected and returned to you at your cost.
For Business Contract Customers the return of goods is entirely at our discretion.
Return of any monies paid will be completed within 30 days of A1 receiving the goods or A1 receiving the appropriate credit from the original suppliers.
We provide two types of servicing or repairs to office equipment, contractual & non-contractual.
Contractual work, terms and conditions are unique to each contract and are separate to these terms.
Non-contractual services (ad-hoc) are quoted on an individual basis and can only include the original callout or inspection price, any parts required and return to fit costs will be advised. Warranty on parts supplied is dependent on manufacturers agreements. Proforma invoices will be raised for any non-contractual work and any work cannot commence until payment has been received.
